Angela Cara, MA, RCC

 Supervisor & Psychotherapist

Angela Cara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #6724) with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Her work is grounded in a depth-oriented, embodied approach, thoughtfully attuned to the unique needs of each client.

Angela specializes in sexual healing and works with themes such as childhood emotional neglect, self-abandonment, and the reclamation of the sexual self. Drawing on approaches such as Sensate Focus, she supports clients in reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating presence, and restoring a sense of vitality and pleasure.

Her practice extends beyond traditional talk therapy, integrating mindfulness, Focusing-oriented therapy, dreamwork, and somatic visualization. This work invites a deeper listening—to the body, to emotion, and to the quieter layers of inner experience—supporting a more authentic and self-trusting way of being.

Madison Paquette

Counselling Intern

Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Even in the face of heartbreak, we keep choosing connection because meaningful change happens when we are truly seen by another human.

As a counsellor, I’m genuine, direct, and emotionally present, working with people who feel disconnected from themselves or their relationships and who may struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, boundaries, shame, self-esteem, or intimacy.

My approach is relational, embodied, and collaborative, drawing from person-centred, AEDP, attachment, focusing, and parts-oriented work, and I often use metaphor, warmth, honesty, humour, and depth to help make sense of the human experience.

Together, we slow things down, listen to emotions as signals of what’s needed, and support you in connecting more fully to your intuition, desires, and capacity for richer relationships, pleasure, and self-expression.

Céline Lykke Jensen

Counselling Intern

Our work together can help you reconnect with your own wisdom and deepen your relationship with yourself and others, so you can feel more grounded, clear, and able to live in alignment with what matters to you.

My work is holistic in nature and shaped by an appreciation for how body, mind, and spirit influence our experience. I’m guided by a respect for the natural world and the ways it can support healing and restoration.

My approach is compassionate, intuitive, and collaborative. I work in a trauma-informed way, drawing from somatic and attachment-oriented perspectives, and I welcome people from all backgrounds and life experiences. I look forward to connecting and supporting your growth.

I live, work, and play on the shared, traditional, and unceded territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, represented today by the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations. I am learning to be a respectful guest on these lands, to understand my role and impact, and to challenge colonialism and racism in my life, at work, and in community.
